Trauma-Focused Skills Group

Accessible Support While You Wait for Trauma Therapy

Building Your Internal Toolkit for Healing The Trauma-Focused Skills Group is a no-cost, virtual program designed specifically for clients on our waitlist and those currently in active treatment that would like to enhance their toolkit. This group serves as a foundational bridge, providing you with essential tools to stabilize your nervous system and build resilience as you navigate your healing journey.

Program Overview

This is a 9-week, ongoing open group that focuses on the core pillars of trauma recovery: grounding, stabilization, containment, and resource installation.

While deep trauma processing occurs during individual therapy, this group provides the necessary “internal toolkit” to help you remain grounded. By participating, you can enter individual treatment with a stronger foundation of coping skills, or supplement your active therapy with additional weekly support.

What to Expect:

  • Learn about trauma and how it affects the brain, body, and emotions
  • Develop effective emotional regulation and coping strategies
  • Build skills for managing stress, anxiety, and difficult emotions
  • Connect with others in a safe, supportive group environment
  • Sessions are led by clinicians experienced in trauma-informed care

Cost:

This group is offered at no cost to participants.
