Our therapists are extensively trained in trauma, attachment, and suicide risk assessment, as well as intervention and prevention. They also bring cross-disciplinary expertise in somatic therapies, play-based counselling, expressive arts, yoga, and mindfulness, with a deep understanding of how trauma and attachment affect the brain and body.

Lori Gill, RP, BA, MA (Counselling Psychology), Certified Trauma Specialist, Founder

Founder, Clinical Director, Developer of ITATM™. Award-winning psychotherapist and trainer
with 16+ years’ experience in trauma, attachment, and complex mental health.

Lori Gill is the founder and executive director of ATTCH Niagara and the Attachment and Trauma Treatment Centre for Healing (ATTCH). She is a Registered Psychotherapist, Certified Trauma Specialist, and award-winning expert witness with over 16 years of clinical experience across mental health, addictions, child welfare, and reconciliation therapy. Lori is the developer of the Integrative Trauma and Attachment Treatment Model (ITATM™), and is an internationally sought-after presenter and clinical supervisor. She has received multiple awards for her contributions to the trauma field and is committed to advancing accessible, evidence-based trauma care.

Cassandra Gordon, MACP, RP

Clinical Supervisor, Senior Therapist, Neurofeedback Practitioner. Experienced with all ages,
specializing in complex trauma, attachment, and integrative therapies.

Cassandra holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and brings over seven years of experience in crisis mental health, foster care, and trauma treatment, including work with abuse, trafficking, and addictions. She integrates ITATM™, EMDR, DBT, CBT, and play therapy in her practice, and is dedicated to trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and accessible care for children, youth, adults, and families.

Martin Atanasovski, RP, BSc (Hons), MA (Counselling Psychology), CTIC

Clinical Supervisor, Senior Therapist. Fluent in English and Macedonian. Specializes in somatic
and experiential trauma therapy.

Martin joined ATTCH Niagara in 2019 and is a Certified Trauma Integration Clinician (CTIC). He is trained in ITATM™ and employs a holistic, mind-body approach for PTSD, mood disorders, anxiety, and attachment issues. Martin is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), and is committed to providing integrative, evidence-based care.

Jonathan DiSanto, RP, MACP

Trained in ITATM™, with a focus on CBT and holistic approaches for all ages.

Jonathan holds a Master of Counselling Psychology and a BA in Psychology. He completed his student placement under Lori Gill, RP, and provides outreach therapy in community settings to reduce barriers for individuals with complex needs. Jonathan values the importance of whole-person care and prioritizes making clients feel heard and understood.

Amanda Bonin

Trauma Counsellor. ITATM™-certified. Supports teens and adults with embodied healing and
trauma recovery.

Amanda holds a degree in Specialization Psychology and completed a mentorship program under Lori Gill, RP. She is passionate about helping others heal from trauma and is pursuing a Master’s in Counselling Psychology/Psychotherapy. Amanda integrates movement and nature into her trauma-informed practice and is dedicated to creating safe, supportive spaces for clients.

Samantha McLean

Trauma Counsellor & Neurofeedback Practitioner. Skilled in CBT, crisis support,
solution-focused therapy, and advocacy for vulnerable populations.

Samantha graduated from the Social Service Worker Program at Niagara College and has worked in social work and outreach since 2019. She is trained in Infra-Low Neurofeedback and uses an anti-oppressive, inclusive approach in her work with clients of all ages. Samantha’s experience includes advocacy with the YWCA Niagara Region, supporting individuals facing homelessness, poverty, and intimate partner violence.

Rina Johnson

Certified Trauma Integration Clinician (CTIC), ISTT. Specializes in Gestalt,
play therapy, and somatic approaches

Rina is a graduate of Kelowna College (Psychotherapy) and York University (BA Sociology), with certifications in Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy and play/sand tray therapy. She has extensive nonprofit experience with children, youth, and elderly facing social equity challenges. Rina’s practice focuses on empowering self-compassion, resilience, and mind-body integration.

Tina Tyko

Tina Tytko, RP (Qualifying), MA (Hons), CTRS

Trauma therapist experienced with adults and teens.

MA from Yorkville University (Counselling Psychology), BA from Brock University in Recreation Therapy. Tina has worked in Mental Health for 3+ years with those experiencing mental health crises. Integrates ITATM™, DBT, CBT, ACT and Recreation Therapy.

Matthew Green, RP (Qualifying), MA

Spiritual Direction & Psychotherapy. Integrates theology, psychology, and affective
neuroscience with attachment and interpersonal neurobiology.

Matthew brings a background in spiritual direction, psychotherapy, and higher education. He has a PhD in Theology, MA in Spiritual Formation, and MA in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy and has lectured and taught at universities across North America. Matthew is a founding member of the Christ-Centered Spiritual Direction Association and is dedicated to integrating love, care, and understanding in his therapeutic practice.

Dennis Shin, RSW, MSW

Experienced with all ages, mental health, and addictions. Committed to cultural humility and
trauma-informed social work.

Dennis is a Masters of Social Work student at the University of Waterloo. He completed his practicum with ATTCH Niagara, deepening his understanding of trauma and attachment. Dennis has a diverse background serving various populations and is passionate about empowerment, social justice, and fostering safe, collaborative spaces for healing.

Graduate Interns & Student Therapists


All graduate interns are fully trained in ITATM™ and supervised by our clinical director. Many are offered employment following their placements.
ATTCH Niagara is a highly competitive placement site for graduate students seeking clinical experience in trauma therapy. Interns complete extensive reading, shadowing, and co-facilitation before working independently. This rigorous training ensures quality, trauma-specific, and wellness-focused care for our clients.
