Becoming Your True Self Aftercare Group

Deepening Healing Beyond Trauma

ATTCH Niagara gratefully acknowledges United Way Niagara for the funding that helped develop our trauma-focused skills group, which has become a core part of our treatment approach. In response to client needs, we are pleased to offer an Aftercare Transition Group to support individuals as they approach the completion of therapy and continue their healing journey.

About the Program

This gentle, virtual aftercare group is designed for ATTCH Niagara clients who have completed 20 or more sessions and are seeking additional support, resources, and community connection.

The group focuses on:

  • Building Community: Connecting with others who have completed their healing journey and learning about community resources.
  • Increasing Embodied Awareness: Deepening the connection to body, mind, and emotions through experiential practices.
  • Rediscovering Self Beyond Trauma: Exploring self-care practices and general interest activities that foster a sense of identity, joy, and resilience.

Experiential Practices May Include:

Music therapy, expressive arts, yoga, dance and movement, mindfulness, meditation, neurofeedback, somatic awareness training, biofeedback, and more.
