Our Core Training Streams
PART 1: Foundations of Trauma and Attachment
The essential prerequisite for advanced training in ITATM™ trauma processing.
This foundational training build the foundation needed for theory and practice. Participants will explore the neurobiology of trauma and attachment, gaining a deep understanding of how these forces shape client behaviours, emotions, and relationships.
PART 2: Phase-Based Tools for Healing and Integration
Practical application and clinical skill-building.
Prerequisite: Completion of ITATM™ Part 1. Building on the foundations of Part 1, this intensive workshop focuses on learning the step-by-step ITATM™ trauma processing protocol. Participants move from theory to hands-on practice, learning to facilitate trauma using a safe structured neurosequential model.
Required Component: Personal Practice Sessions
ITATM™ Part 2 is an experiential training. Full participation in personal practice sessions is a requirement for successful completion.
Therapists in applied practice training for models such as EMDR, ITATM™, or DBR can expect a multi-faceted learning experience. Participants will practice the model as both client and therapist, multiple times, to learn the processing model.
Note on the Experiential Process: As with most professional-level clinical trainings, the application of the model through personal practice is a vital component. Participants should anticipate engaging with personal experiences. While participants remain in control of what they disclose and the specific targets they choose to work on, there is a risk of emotional activation. Conversely, the benefits include a measurable reduction of emotional charge and a sense of resolution or reduced activation regarding the processed material. This process allows clinicians to develop skills in navigating blocks and building confidence in the model’s application.
